Landing of Vikram of Chandrayan-3 mission on Moon was planned to be on 23 August 2023 at 06:04 IST. This event had a very wide and popular enthusiasm among the India public. In view of that "UNBOUND INDIA" planned a program of showing this event live along with a discussion. I was one among the panel members and spoke about the scientific aspects of Moon and the Vikram Lander. It was seen and appreciated very widely. It was an extremely exciting event and the recording is available on this LINK

This weekend there is going to be a celestial event  on 21 June 2020 (Annular solar eclipse). Path of a full eclipse will pass through Pakistan, India and China. Large part of India (except southern India) will see partial eclipse to varying percentages. Though, this is the rainy season and in some part clouds are there. However, there may be regions wherein this event will be visible.

There are good space science comic books in several languages including English and Hindi. The books were originally written in Japanease and were translated in sevral international languages. Hindi translation was done by Prof Hari Om Vats (Director SERF). These are on 8 Space Science Topics and the link for individual books are given below:

The talk was given by Prof. Hari Om Vats (Hari Om Vats is the founder Director of Space Education and Research Foundation, Ahmedabad. He was born in a village Kalina (Meerut) India. In 1970, he joined Physical Research Laboratory Ahmedabad after M Sc Physics (Meerut University). He earned his Ph. D. (Gujarat University) for his research work on upper atmosphere. He has published 118 research papers in the scientific journals and guided 5 scholars for Ph. D. work. He has worked on research programs in several centers e.g. at UC, San Diego USA, KSRC Japan and INPE Brazil. He has given 265 popular talks. He has translated 8 Space Science Comic Books in Hindi. These are available on SCOSTEP website. For the purpose of space science popularization, he has visited several countries of Asia and Pacific region e.g. Bhutan, Nepal, Mongolia, Uzbekistan, Mauritius, Malaysia, Indonesia, Tajikistan and Lao PDR.)
